Try unplugging your router from the wall for about 5 minutes, then plug it back in. Be sure not to press the reset button.
For the best Wi-Fi coverage, try to place your router in a central spot in your home. If it’s tucked away in a spot that can’t be moved, Wi-Fi extenders can help boost the signal to other areas. Just know that things like thick walls, concrete, mirrors, and metal can weaken your Wi-Fi signal.
Phone
Here’s a simple way to set up call forwarding:
-
Pick up your phone and wait for a dial tone.
-
*Dial 72 — you’ll hear a quick “beep-beep” tone.
-
Enter the number where you want your calls to go. (Just a heads-up: if it’s a long-distance number, regular long-distance charges will apply.)
-
When someone answers at that number, your call forwarding is all set!
If no one answers or the line is busy, just hang up and try the steps again.
Once it’s turned on, you’ll hear one short ring on your home phone each time a call is forwarded. Don’t worry — you can still make outgoing calls like normal.
